Love Knots for everyone…

Love Knot Ring

David asks…

What was the worst thing your cat has done to wake you up?

Either intentional or unintentional.

Mine reached over and flexed her paw on my eyelid. I woke up with claws hooked on my eyelid and not being able to open it. I think she was half asleep. Boy did that hurt. She seemed confused as to why I woke up quickly and moved her paw.

LoveKnots answers:

LOL on your cat story. Mine was when my two orphan babies ran across my face one night. Normal people would get mad but I love cats and just laughed. They always would run in and play on top of my stomach in the middle of night like it was a wrestling ring. Still….. I would laugh

One night one of my cats was kneading above my head and when I woke up I had a enormous knot in my hair from it. I mean enormous….. Still laughing

Sharon asks…

What does a trinity ring mean if its a wedding ring?

Its three different types of gold rings.

LoveKnots answers:

Trinity rings have trinity knots which are said to represent pure love

John asks…

How do you know when a guy wants to marry you?

Okay Ive been dating my Army man for a month now and things are going great, we have great chemistry, we laugh, we have fun, were gonna start working out with each other and we just like each other so so much, i even went to the military ball with him. My mom and dad were married after 3 months and have been married now for 23 years…and he’s been saying things like if we were to tie the knot, and a month to forever, and your a blessing in my life…do you think hes giving me hints he wants to marry me?

LoveKnots answers:

Yes he does want to marry you

Recommended to take it slow, take time to get to know the person. Try to keep things clean, less baggage. Let years of perfect relationship before marriage (if you want you can always be engaged and married after years has passed). You can always accept the marriage ring and just marry when you have a few years of solid peace and love engagment/relationship. Or marry because then you can leave on base with him just no kids till after 7 years of perfect marriage solid without any arguments. Make sure only settle for your soul mate with peace and keep in mind there are many soul mates. Arguing is normal but is it good? No, so make sure it is 7 years no arguments. After 7 solid years of perfect marriage then a child if desired.

If things are minor I usually just wouldn’t even give it a second thought. If it is major I just fix it the best way and that’s it. Maybe this will be a good method for you guys. Always reinforce it with Love

Also I see premarital counseling working.Church usually has it for free. You can even attend after marriage.
: Either way for later as a wife if you decide make sure to take care of him always in the love making area. I hope you can be stay at home wife ([no school]events with guys around unless your husband is there 100%) that takes care of all the woman things and he is taking care of all the man things like lifting, fixing working outside and handling all those jerks, and if you do work outside you know what I mean. I hope you can be a home wife so the marriage can be a loving one with peace. He wants a feminine wife not a worker guy. If you make double what he makes he should stay home.
*Talking is good. Find a private place to talk with time to talk. Never teach, just inform if necessary and in a meek manner. Handle the kids and teach them with few words and listen well, pay attention to details. If some parts kids can’t be handled then inform the husband.
*Be a good wife and make sure all the cooking and cleaning is done. Stay Fit, Smell Good, Dress well. Make sure to make love when ever either of you want.
*Be meek. Quick to listen, slow to speak. Only tell him things when needed. Never teach him. If you do tell him something make sure it is kindly. Handle the kids, and if you notice you can’t for sure then inform him in a kindly way.
*Hugs and kisses are always good any time, instead in front of the guys otherwise the guys might want some too. Make sure to let him know to keep the making love part private.
*Remember your NEVER a push over, you LOVE so you give BUT if your ever taken advantage fix it asap with a calm talk in a private place with time to talk while hugging and ending it with a kiss and maybe love.
*Make sure your spouse can handle things, like if he is not good with money maybe he should handle it. I mean like saving for a 6 month rainy day and then increase that as much as you can as time goes on. Buy a house cash small to start and then bigger when you decide and ready to have a child so the child can stay in one community for their whole school life and a place to come home always during Holidays and for you to plant your plants and watch them grow and to grow old in, make sure to pay cash or go smaller if needed or just wait on the child/bigger home, peace is most important. Retirement, Vacations.
Also make sure to put a small bundle of money as a emergency fund for you

On another note you seem to be a very nice person, so I like to add that what ever person you want a serious relationship with, take your time (years) and really really really see if this is the person you will spend your whole life with. If you can even better never get married and just enjoy your life with nothing serious, make sure the other party knows your intentions. I also like to add though, in marriage it is a different kinda love, a very valuable kinda love. Always do whats best for everyone like what you did when you asked this question,

Try your best. Love like you never love before. This is the best way for love to come and start surrounding your life. May love be around you, through you and is you.

Love and the Good Life will come

Laura asks…

How do you know when he is ready?

My boyfriend keeps telling me he is ready to get married but isnt ready to get married. I dont understand what it means.
He has asked me to make sure i am alway his and has promised me and given me a prmise ring but still isnt ready to get married?

Im very confused.

LoveKnots answers:

Depends how long you 2 have been together and how old you both are. It seems he does love you but doesnt want the whole marriage thing yet. Frankly the way i see it is that as long as your both happy why is there a rush to tie the knot?

Michael asks…

What Shakespeare monologue should I choose for this audition?

This is my third year doing a play at my local Shakespeare theater. There’s a good chance I’ll get in because the director likes me, but I’m hoping for a slightly bigger part (though I’m always happy with ensamble), so I want my audition to be perfect. The play this year is Twelfth Night.
I’m 16 years old and and a girl. I don’t want to use something from the play, and if we did type-casting I would be the ingenue. Any recomendations?

LoveKnots answers:

You’re in luck. Viola’s monologue is the way to go here.

VIOLA: I left no ring with her. What means this lady?
Fortune forbid my outside have not charmed her.
She made good view of me; indeed, so much
That, as methought, her eyes had lost her tongue,
For she did speak in starts distractedly.
She loves me sure; the cunning of her passion
Invites me in this churlish messenger.
None of my lord’s ring? Why, he sent her none.
I am the man. If it be so, as ’tis,
Poor lady, she were better love a dream.
Disguise, I see thou art a wickedness
Wherein the pregnant enemy does much.
How easy is it for the proper false
In women’s waxen hearts to set their forms!
Alas, our frailty is the cause, not we,
For such as we are made of, such we be.
How will this fadge? My master loves her dearly;
And I (poor monster) fond as much on him;
And she (mistaken) seems to dote on me.
What will become of this? As I am man,
My state is desperate for my master’s love.
As I am woman (now alas the day!),
What thriftless sighs shall poor Olivia breathe?
O Time, thou must untangle this, not I;
It is too hard a knot for me t’ untie.

Lisa asks…

What can I give my 4 month old to teeth on if he can’t hold teething rings well?

He’s able to grab things and put them in his mouth, but he can’t fit some teething rings in his mouth. He likes to grab his blanket and chew on it, but that’s not good! Any advice will help!

LoveKnots answers:

My son was similar… He cut his bottom front teeth at 3 months! Standard teethers are too large and awkward, but even when I bought teethers designed for younger babies, my son had no interest in chewing them. What he loved most was my finger! He would even use his own finger rather than teething toys. Because of the drool, I kept a soft absorbant terry bib on him, and he would often lift this to his mouth and bite down. I purchased a teething towel and a teething bib hoping he would use these, but he still preferred the bib or his/my fingers.

Don’t use numbing agents… Your baby is at the absolute minimum age allowed for using those products, but they are nevertheless not recommended. Many teething gels contain benzocaine, which can cause an allergic reaction. In addition it’s unlikely they can numb the gums because they are washed out of the mouth and swallowed within a few minutes.

Because my son is now cutting his molars, he is in a great deal of discomfort and I broke down and bought baby orajel. I was careful to apply it directly with a q-tip because I was aware that if swallowed it can inhibit their ability to nurse and swallow. Despite my great care, he salivated immediately and swallowed deeply. He grimaced at the taste and effect and I am sure practically none of it stayed on the tooth. I’ll never use it again.

My recommendations:
-Massage his gums with your finger. You can buy all natural teething massage gel such as Pansoral, if that helps.
-Wet the corners of a facecloth or teething blanket (they have knotted corners just for this) and place it in the fridge before offering it. (NEVER put teether in the freezer or offer ice chips, as this can cause frostbite of the gums).
-If you are not exclusively breastfeeding, you can offer a piece of chilled banana.
-Although my son didn’t care for them, you can try teethers designed for little babies that are easy to hold. Here are links to some of the products I tried that you might have more success with:

When all else fails, and if he is in a great deal of pain, pediatricians recommend giving baby Tylenol for 1 day.

Ruth asks…

Do you have any ideas of tokens of love from around the world?

I am doing an abstract piece and looking for more than just what we in America think.

LoveKnots answers:

Claddaugh Ring
Celtic Knots
Food & Animals (think poorer nations)

Helen asks…

what is a good classical monologue to audition for twelfth night?

specifically the roles of maria or viola. This audition is also for Romeo and Juliet.

I think its a little tacky to audition with a monologue from the show itself, so I’m curious as to what other monologues would be appropriate for these roles.

LoveKnots answers:

Try this one from Viola in twelfh night.

You can even shorten it if you want :) and for Romeo and Juliet I am assuming you would want to play a female role so here is one from Juliet and the Nurse,

JULIET: Thou knowest the mask of night is on my face;
Else would a maiden blush bepaint my cheek
For that which thou hast heard me speak to-night.
Fain would I dwell on form — fain, fain deny
What I have spoke; but farewell compliment!
Dost thou love me? I know thou wilt say ‘Ay’;
And I will take thy word. Yet, if thou swear’st,
Thou mayst prove false. At lovers’ perjuries,
They say Jove laughs. O gentle Romeo,
If thou dost love, pronounce it faithfully.
Or if thou thinkest I am too quickly won,
I’ll frown, and be perverse, and say thee nay,
So thou wilt woo; but else, not for the world.
And here is the Nurse:
Nurse: Even or odd, of all days in the year,
Come Lammas Eve at night shall she be fourteen.
Susan and she (God rest all Christian souls!)
Were of an age. Well, Susan is with God;
She was too good for me. But, as I said,
On Lammas Eve at night shall she be fourteen;
That shall she, marry; I remember it well.
‘Tis since the earthquake now eleven years;
And she was weaned (I never shall forget it),
Of all the days of the year, upon that day;
For I had then laid wormwood to my dug,
Sitting in the sun under the dove house wall.
My lord and you were then at Mantua.
Best of luck! :)
