Love Knots for everyone…

Love Knot Meaning

Chris asks…

How do you “unsnarl your love life”?

I need to “unsnarl my love life” but I don’t know how..What does it mean?
Alright..But I’m not in a relationship..

LoveKnots answers:

It means you need to disentangle it.. It’s tied in a knot.. You need to free it from the knot…unsnarl.. Means ”undo the knot that your love life is in..” in other words.. Get rid of the complications – a way of doing that would be to have a conversation with your partner.. Where you both show respect to each other and give each other time to listen and take turns talking and listening…and hopefully arriving at a solution with which both of you are happy.. A compromise you both make as a couple …undo the knot of your relationship.. It’s like a knot in the hair when it’s not been combed properly for a while.. Long hair usually.. And it takes a lot of work to disentangle each streak of hair without damaging it.. And combing it thouroughly.. Xxx

I was wondering if there is any meaning behind the different colors of Rosary beads?

LoveKnots answers:

Rosary come all styles and colors.

Some are made out of beads , some are just knotted rope.

The different colors on a your Rosary is to tell the different prayers to be said.

The Cross= Sign of the Cross and the Apostles creed

The next bead a large one = Our Father

the next three small ones = Hail Marys

The next large = Glory Be…

Then the Large are =mysteries and Our Fathers

the small are = Hail Marys

at the end is said Hail Holy Queen

there are lots of sites to learn how to say the Rosary

It’s worth learning

here why

1 To all those who shall pray my Rosary devoutly, I promise my special protection and great graces.

2 Those who shall persevere in the recitation of my Rosary will receive some special grace.

3 The Rosary will be a very powerful armor against hell; it will destroy vice, deliver from sin and dispel heresy.

4 The rosary will make virtue and good works flourish, and will obtain for souls the most abundant divine mercies. It will draw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.

5 Those who trust themselves to me through the Rosary will not perish.

6 Whoever recites my Rosary devoutly reflecting on the mysteries, shall never be overwhelmed by misfortune. He will not experience the anger of God nor will he perish by an unprovided death. The sinner will be converted; the just will persevere in grace and merit eternal life.

7 Those truly devoted to my Rosary shall not die without the sacraments of the Church.

8 Those who are faithful to recite my Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the light of God and the plenitude of His graces and will share in the merits of the blessed.

9 I will deliver promptly from purgatory souls devoted to my Rosary.

10 True children of my Rosary will enjoy great glory in heaven.

11 What you shall ask through my Rosary you shall obtain.

12 To those who propagate my Rosary I promise aid in all their necessities.

13 I have obtained from my Son that all the members of the Rosary Confraternity shall have as their intercessors, in life and in death, the entire celestial court.

14 Those who recite my Rosary faithfully are my beloved children, the brothers and sisters of Jesus Christ.

15 Devotion to my Rosary is a special sign of predestination.

All these promises can be counted on. :)

here’s one link that has some very nice depictions of the Mysteries

Laura asks…

What do you think this poem is about/means?

Love Song
Carol Muske-Dukes

Love comes hungry to anyone’s hand.
I found the newborn sparrow next to
the tumbled nest on the grass. Bravely

opening its beak. Cats circled, squirrels.
I tried to set the nest right but the wild
birds had fled. The knot of pin feathers

sat in my hand and spoke. Just because
I’ve raised it by touch, doesn’t mean it
follows. All day it pecks at the tin image of

a faceless bird. It refuses to fly,
though I’ve opened the door. What
sends us to each other? He and I

had a blue landscape, a village street,
some poems, bread on a plate. Love
was a camera in a doorway, love was

a script, a tin bird. Love was faceless,
even when we’d memorized each other’s
lines. Love was hungry, love was faceless,

the sparrow sings, famished, in my hand.

LoveKnots answers:

I think it means that love is something that you need and want but don’t ever get. You chase its image but such chasing is futile and stupid, because what you are chasing is not really there, even though you need it desperately.
